Q&A: What should i replace my nexus one with?

Question by Diablo8247: What should i replace my nexus one with?
I am thinking of upgrading my phone. However I’m not sure what phone to upgrade to. I have a nexus one right now and I love it. I have T-Mobile and I would prefer to stick with them but it depends on circumstances. I don’t need a keyboard. But that also doesn’t matter. I was looking at the evo or the nexus s. Or maybe even the g2.

Also thought about waiting until a new release with Netflix since it’s not currently on the android without a workaround.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

If you want to stick with T-mobile right now it would probably be best if you waited for the newly announced g2x(t-mobile branded LG Optimux 2x), it’s going to be T-mobile’s first dual core device and pretty much new flagship, it has stock android like the nexus line and g2. The only “downside” is that it comes with Android 2.2 froyo instead of gingerbread, but is supposed to get that update quickly(or you can probably put a gingerbread ROM like cyanogenmod on it before that if you’re into that).

Regardless since it comes out Mid-Late April which is only a month away, you might as well wait and get the best.

Also honestly imho, neither the g2, nexus s or evo are a suitable use of a 2 year contract upgrade from a nexus one. Especially with all the dual cores coming out between now and summer.

EDIT: ALMOST FORGOT the best part. The phone comes with both the AT&T and T-mobile 3G frequency bands, so you have less need to worry about the AT&T buying out T-mobile stuff.
